Wimborne Model Town & Gardens
Go along and visit the one-tenth scale model of the 1950's version of Wimborne Town and compare it with how Wimborne looks today. Wander through the narrow streets and the beautiful gardens surrounding the Model Town.
The Model Town records the buildings as they were, over 40 years ago, showing the buildings in the smallest possible detail, in some cases showing the goods displayed in the shop windows !
The Visitor and Exhibition Centre includes facilities for coffee, light lunches, afternoon and Cream Teas, Gift Shop and Plant Sales. There is also a small scale railway and miniature fair to explore as well as Wendy Houses for the very young.
