The Tank Museum at Bovington houses the world's finest international collection of armoured fighting vehicles. In total there are over 150 vehicles from over 26 countries around the world. You can follow the development of armoured vehicles from the Great War, WW2, The Gulf War and finally experience the sights and sounds of "Tank Battle" in modern armour.
There is a play area for children, armoured vehicle rides available during summer week-days. There is also the famous "Tanks In Action" displays every Thursday and Friday at Noon. See below for full details. You will also find a souvenir and model shop as well as the Gauntlet Restaurant.
Built in 1998, there is an exact, full size replica of a World War 1 trench, complete with lighting and sound effects, giving you the chance to experience life in the trenches for yourself.
One-level access caters for disabled visitors, wheelchairs available on request.
