The Museum of Electricty
The Museum of Electricty, which can be found in Bargates close to the centre of Christchurch, is the place to go to discover the history of electricty, in the settings of a genuine Edwardian Power Station.
Here you will find there's something for all ages, ranging from hands on experiments and working models for children, which tie in with the school curriculum, to very early domestic items which no doubt will be familiar to some of the older visitors !
