The Isle of Purbeck is an area of complete contrasts, from a dramatic coastline, a traditional seaside town, rolling hills and rare heathland not to mention the numerous pretty rural villages dotted around the rolling landscape and an ancient castle that lies in ruins.

The Isle of Purbeck is in fact not an island, but an area of coastline that is surrounded on three sides. Within the Purbecks you will find an area that in many places hasn't changed for centuries, providing the ideal location for a traditional holiday or a getaway weekend.
