My 2xG Grandmother Dionisia LANE (nee
FUTCHER) spent the last years of her life at "The Moorings", Longfleet Road,
Poole, living with her youngest son Albert Edward LEIGH LANE. Dionisia was
baptised at Fovant, Wilts, in 1828, and she died at Poole in 1908. She is
buried at St.Mary's Longfleet. I have no record of her whereabouts from 1871 to
1901. There is an unsubstantiated family story that Dionisia was the first

he died in 1942. He did not marry. I do not know why he took the name "Leigh". [ John Lane ]
