I have managed to trace the Jolliffes in
my tree back to my gg grandfather, Edmund Baker Jolliffe who was born in
Yetminster in 1838. He and his wife settled in Leigh where the family remained
until the 1940s. I have now reached a dead end and canot find any further
generations. I believe that they came from the Poole area but I am not certain.
