Janet or Jeanette Moloney nee Foster married my great uncle John Lawrence Moloney 1905 in Wimborne. They lived there. After he died at Ypres 1914 where did she go ? Were there any children ? They honeymooned in Poole so it's just a hunch she moved there .. Any Moloneys in Poole ? Wimborne Minster were looking for The Men on the Monument 1914-18 when I contacted them - they are making a Book to go in the Minster. Coincidence ! [ Rose Moloney ]

I would like any information on the families, STURMEY, FRAMPTON AND COBB from Dorset, Walter Sturmey jnr emmigrated to NZ abt 1860-64 and was the son of James Sturmey b. 1806-1808 and Susanna Frampton, from Poole, James was a coal merchant and a professor of music and the son of Walter senior who was believed to be a coal merchant and a shipwright b. Bere Regis abt 1776. James was widowed and remarried to Suzannah Cobb abt 1854. Any information on any of these family members, appreciated. [ Linda Partridge ]

My father Albert Frampton was born in the union workhouse in Poole in 1887 his mother was Harriet Frampton who married a Henry Locke and had another son about 1899 named Henry who was born in Hinton Martell, Wimborne. Later they moved to Parkstone. Can anyone help? [ Christine Gillingham ]

I am searching for information about my mother who was born in the late 1890's. She was born into the family of Mr. Ernest Fripp ( My Grandfather) in Windborne, Dorset. My Grandfather worked for Lord Digby as a gardener, for Lord Digby on the Digby estate. My mother name was Agnes Rose Fripp, she had three brothers and perhaps two sisters. The brothers names were Gordon, Bertram, and Ernest, the sisters name was Ethel, and Beatrice. My Grandfather's name I believe was Ernest? I do not know what my Grandmother's name was, nor do I know what her maiden name was. My mother passed away April 17, 1931 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada.
