The ever popular Party in the Park is set for Sunday 5 September 2010 on the green in Ashley Cross. Now in its 10 th year, the event has grown from strength and is recognised as a staple part of the summer's social calendar.
So well supported by local families, this free event offers a mixture of culture, food and music and is warmly welcomed each year by the very young to the not so young. Party in the Park offers a community spirit that is sadly often overlooked these days. The trend is to sit back and listen to the sounds of local talented bands whilst sipping a drink and tucking into the assortment of food on offer. This is also the chance to raise money for a local worthwhile cause. This year we will be supporting The Richie Keefe Life & Soul Trust, who supports families affected financially by cancer in the Bournemouth and Poole area.
The line up includes:
- Bell Casino
- Full On
- Pachango
