Explore the wildife of Brownsea Island on this amazing nature trail. Get close to the ground of the heathland, explore woodland trees, scour beaches and much more. This free fun trail will be available from the visitor centre daily throughout the summer holidays.

Sunday 1 September 2013 - Sunday scone fest on Brownsea Island

Freshly baked delights await you in our cafe garden. Come along to the Villano Cafe Garden where there will be a marquee and live music. Try a variety of sweet and savoury scones, preserves and teas. You can also buy items to enjoy with your friends and family at home.

Tuesday 3 September 2013 - Swanage Railway Cream Tea Special

Swanage Railway, Station House, Swanage, BH19 1HB

Enjoy a luxurious cream tea whilst travelling through the Purbeck countryside on board the Wessex Belle dining train.  The one hour trips depart from Swanage Station at 14:25 and are simply the best way to see Dorset's rolling hills. Advance booking advised.

Costs £14 per person and tables are booked for 2,3 or 4 people.

Friday 6 - Saturday 14 September 2013 - International 2.4mR Class 2013 World Championships

Poole Yacht Club, New Harbour Road, Poole, BH15 4AQ

The International 2.4mR is the only class where able-bodied and disabled sailors, male and female, compete in the same boats on a level playing field and a best-ever fleet of around 100 sailors is anticipated at the event, being staged by The Poole Yacht Club from 6 - 14 September 2013.
