Friday 17 May - Saturday 18 May 2103 - Indian Summer

Lighthouse Studio, The Lighthouse, Poole

'Look at this place! You know, in here, all the secrets of the world exist'.

Indian Summer at the Lighthouse Studio, Poole - 17 - 18 May 2013Indian Summer is about two girls whose mundane lives are far removed from the excitement and cultural exoticism of the India they imagine.

Laura dreams of escaping her life working in a railway cafe ‘having curries by the campfire and eating poppadoms for breakfast’. Steph dreams that the cappuccino machine will work; her escape is her shift working at the station, distracting herself with other peoples lives without having to thi...nk about her own.
Everyone in a station has a story. We meet various characters from different backgrounds, with different secrets. As the girls encounter the strangers, their stories lead them to make decisions regarding their own futures. Can they afford to dream for anything more?
