Dads are in for a special treat at the Dolphin Shopping Centre on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, with a star showcase of two iconic cars representing some of the most popular 1980s movies and TV series.
Dad's can literally go back in time in honour of the 25th anniversary of the 1985 Stephen Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis classic, 'Back to the Future'. Although not powered by plutonium, visitors will still have the chance to admire the replica DeLorean at close quarters.
A Knight Rider Trans AM original replica, better known as KITT from the hit 1980s TV show, will also be on display. Complete with fully loaded front scanner light and custom nose, Gullwing steering wheel, interior dashboard with two TV screens and onboard camera, it can even talk — with over 30 different phrases.
